I4PL 2026 · Igniting The Capability Era

Useful answers. No runaround.

Everything a visitor needs before registering or booking travel. Details are published as soon as they are confirmed, and never before.

When and where is the I4PL 2026 conference?

The I4PL 2026 Annual National Conference takes place on Wednesday 25 and Thursday 26 November 2026 at the Westin Harbour Castle, 1 Harbour Square, Toronto, Ontario M5J 2H3.

How do I book the conference hotel rate?

The conference rate at the Westin Harbour Castle is $359 plus tax. Book online through the I4PL booking link, or call 1-888-627-8559 and quote group code I6P. The booking window closes on 27 October 2026.

Who should attend?

The conference is built for learning and development practitioners across Canada: heads of learning, capability and talent leaders, instructional designers, facilitators, and CTDP and CTP certification holders maintaining their professional practice.

How do I register?

Registration is handled through Whova, The I4PL’s event platform. Pricing, member rates and the registration link are published on this site as soon as The I4PL confirms them.

What is the refund policy?

Tickets purchased more than 30 days before the event may be cancelled for a full refund, less processing fees, within 24 hours of purchase. Purchases made within 30 days of the event are non-refundable. Tickets cannot be transferred.

Is the conference available in French?

This site is published as a matched English Canadian and Québec French experience, and every page has an equivalent in the other language. Session-level language availability is confirmed as the programme is finalised.

How do I request accessibility or dietary accommodation?

Indicate your needs at registration. All dietary and accessibility requests must be submitted no later than 5 November 2026, and requests after that date may not be possible to accommodate. You can also contact I4PL directly to discuss specific needs.

Are sessions recorded, and can I record them?

The I4PL may photograph, record and use images and recordings from the conference for promotional purposes, and retains ownership of session recordings it captures. Attendees may not record sessions or share session materials with non-participants without prior permission from the I4PL organising team.

How many people attend?

Attendance is capped at 500 people. The limit is deliberate: it keeps the hallway conversations useful and the sessions small enough to participate in rather than simply watch.

Are there airline or rail discounts?

Yes. Discount codes are available for Air Canada, WestJet, Porter Airlines, Delta Air Lines and VIA Rail. The codes are listed on the venue and travel page.
