Professional certification

The designation that proves it.

The Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) is the only professional designation in Canada for workplace performance and learning. It validates your expertise against the national competency standard.

Why get certified

Industry-recognized certification is evidence of your skills and experience as a learning and development professional, and of your commitment to continuous improvement. It proves your credentials to employers and clients and sets you apart from uncertified candidates competing for the same roles. In a recent review of job sites, more than 50 postings on LinkedIn and Indeed listed CTDP as required or an asset.

Certified professionals are considered for leadership roles and high-profile projects. The confidence employers place in the designation translates into accelerated career paths: promotions, salary advancement and broader responsibility.
