Ontario

Toronto

Monthly professional development and networking, breakfasts to evening socials.

Each month the Toronto chapter hosts both professional development and networking events. The professional development events provide a forum for members to come together and learn in a group setting on a topic relevant to the industry and our membership. Presentations are reviewed and selected by a team of instructional designers and learning consultants who work with presenters to ensure that presentations are interactive, follow adult learning principles, and reflect the diversity of our profession.

Chapter networking events include monthly networking breakfasts (7:30 to 9:00 am) and evening socials ranging from mix-and-mingles to team-building activities and sporting events. Whether you prefer mornings or evenings, there is a forum to connect face to face, share ideas, tools and best practices, and make new contacts in an informal setting.

The Membership Experience committee welcomes new members and supports them through their first six months, with a welcome call, a certification webinar and an introduction to the membership experience.
