Program status

CTDP registration is paused while the Institute strengthens the program. Join the next-cohort list at my.thei4pl.ca/certification/apply and the certification team will email you the dates when registration reopens. Current candidates and certified members can pay certification fees online at my.thei4pl.ca/certification/fees.

How a cohort runs

  • Cohort intake: applications are accepted by cohort; the most recent cohorts started on 1 July.
  • Knowledge exam: offered quarterly. Three hours, 100 multiple-choice questions, self-proctored and open book, 75% to pass.
  • Skill demonstration: pre-approval up to 60 days before your intended date; demonstrations are scheduled quarterly to the cohort timeline.
  • Interview: scheduled once the skill demonstration is assessed.
  • Time to complete: up to one year from payment, typically about nine months.

Refunds: within 30 days of registration, full refund less a $100 administration fee, provided no exam has been scheduled and no portfolio submitted. See the cancellation and refund policy.
