What the designation recognizes.

The Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDP) is I4PL’s professional designation for workplace performance and learning. The recovered program material identifies experience across performance needs assessment, curriculum and learning-experience design, facilitation, transfer of learning, and evaluation.

Program status

The donor site states that the CTDP program is temporarily paused while I4PL strengthens the overall experience. Use the certification update form to be notified when the next public cohort details are confirmed.

Prepare

Before you apply.

Check your experience

The recovered pathway identifies four years of full-time, or equivalent, experience working with adult learners across the competency areas. Recognized-program graduates may receive experience credit under the applicable program rules.

Review the framework

Start with I4PL’s competencies, certification handbook, policies, candidate toolkit, and ethical code. These are the public foundation for assessing readiness.

Plan your pathway

Certification has historically included self-assessment, references, registration, a knowledge examination, skill demonstration, and review. Current dates and requirements will be published before registrations reopen.

Next step

Receive verified reopening information.

Do not rely on old dates, pricing, or payment links from the disputed legacy site. Submit a certification inquiry and I4PL will respond with the current public requirements when they are available.
