As Canadian workplaces move into a post-pandemic (or living-with-the-pandemic) mode, it's a good time to reflect on what we've learned and where we're going. A good place to start is with the I4PL 2021 Perspectives on the Canadian Learning Industry report.

Based on original research gathered as part of Learnfest 2021, the report discusses current trends and provides recommendations for performance and learning professionals. In particular, it looks in depth at the implications of several themes that are expected to have an impact over the next 2-3 years:

  • Resilience is a key skill,
  • Digital transformation of business will continue, and
  • Employee upskilling/reskilling will remain a key priority.

The report is available for free in both English and French from the Research Committee's webpage.
